Dr. Lea Hachem
Dr. Hachem loves being able to have a positive impact on her patients’ health and quality of life, and she has dedicated herself to this mission for over a decade. As our periodontal specialist, she enables our patients to receive a wider variety of procedures in-house while always working with the team they know and trust. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Hachem was always intrigued by the medical field, and dentistry was particularly interesting to her because it bridges overall health and well-being with oral function and esthetics. She eventually decided to focus on periodontology because it is the foundation of all dentistry, plus it was her favorite subject! She says that without proper support from the surrounding structures, the teeth and dental work cannot last.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Lea Hachem earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Université Saint-Joseph Faculté de Médecine Dentaire in Beirut. She then attended the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontology and Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Hachem is a board-certified periodontist with expertise in all types of gum disease, dental implant, reconstructive, and cosmetic periodontal surgery.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Dr. Hachem is the daughter of a urologist and agricultural engineer, and she has a brother and sister. In her free time, she likes to hike, ski, do Pilates, practice karate (she has her brown belt), and relax on the beach.
